Life Changes

Well I have been so busy this past two days at work. My friend/co-worker's mother passed away this Sunday evening after being in the Intensive Care Unit for the past 3weeks. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family at this time of mourning. I know that this is going to be a difficult time for her and her family and I will be here for her as a friend/co-worker to listen to her and comfort her at this time of sorrow. It is always difficult to know what exactly to say to someone after this has happened. The only thing that I can do is to be there should she need someone.

  1. That is the best thing you can do for someone who has lost a loved one. There are no right words but she will remember that you were there to listen and lend a shoulder. When my father past away it was the gestures of people bringing us food and friends just being there to spend time with me that I remember being the most comfort.

  2. Thanks, Terri--and I think you're right. Margie, you seem like such a loyal and dedicated mom and friend---I strive to be like you! I am sure your presence alone is comforting to your friend.
